French road guardrail specialist 8719 Tertu Equipements is using Intertraffic as the debut show for its new T32 system, the company’s first entry in the N2W2 category.

The company has had products in the N2W3 category before.  It is now able to reach the required level of performance with a 2m 66cm spacing between posts. Previously, this had a post spacing of 2m.

The T32 also uses a 16cm diameter half-log as the facing for the guardrail rather than the 22cm used previously.

The combination of these factors means that Tertu has been able to reduce the cost of the T32 relative to previous models.

The company’s range of steel-backed timber guardrails offers containment levels N1, N2 and H2, together with working widths from W2 to W7.

ParkHere is launching a complete software and hardware solution from a single source to administer car park management. The core product, an Intertraffic Innovation Award finalist, is a sensor embedded in the parking area that generates an impulse in the installed energy-harvesting module when a car drives over it. The resulting energy is sufficient to transmit the information via mobile phone network to the server. The data is then analysed and made available to customers via a web app or dashboards. It is
