Although 125 Sodi Scientifica is currently celebrating its fiftieth anniversary, here at Intertraffic the company is also celebrating a major new launch to show the world how deep knowledge and long experience can produce fresh and innovative products!

Sodi is presenting its new Autovelox 106 Digital Automated Traffic Enforcement System, which the company says will take enforcement to a new level, allowing for not only speed enforcement but also tailgating, bus lane, emergency lane, minimum speed and cars only zones.

Autovelox can be used in a mobile configuration (patrol car or tripod) or in a fixed site (roadside box, roadside pole, D-tower or on Portal) with no modification to the unit. Equipped with a high-resolution camera, up to 18 megapixels, it can capture one or two photos per infraction plus all needed violation data on road with up to four lanes.

Sodi says Intertraffic is also the perfect venue to present its new D-Tower multifunctional housing system, which it says is the perfect solution for the company’s Autostop HD units in both their speed or red light enforcement configurations, or the two combined.

The device is available with inductive loops or with non-intrusive sensors and can be equipped with an additional digital video for enhanced enforcement performance. D-Tower can also house the company’s Autovelox 106 units and it is tested for extreme weather conditions, guaranteeing excellent performances in extreme heat or extreme cold.
