RobotTuner explores autonomous accreditation at Intertraffic

A newcomer at this year’s Intertraffic is 8669 RobotTuner which is displaying software for monitoring and remote control of autonomous vehicles and its simulation software for assessing object detection and classification safety systems.

At Intertraffic it will highlight the ‘Digital driving license’ project it is undertaking with the Netherlands Vehicle Authority and the Netherlands Driver Exam Authority. The project aims to establish new methodology for the certification and type approval of autonomous vehicles.

Visitors to its stand in Hall 9 can see simulations of EasyMile’s EZ10 that were made for the province of Groningen - which has recently renewed its contract with RobotTuner for technical support of several autonomous vehicles and 5G pilots. The company’s software will also be used for the assessment of Navya’s Autonom shuttle.

RobotTuner is a spin-off from Green Dino which specialises in the autonomous training and assessment of human drivers using driving simulators.
