From 17 to 21 September 2018, the city of Copenhagen will host the 25th ITS World Congress - organised by 374 Ertico – ITS Europe and the European Commission, in collaboration with ITS America and ITS Asia-Pacific.  This is the largest event entirely focused on digitalisation of transport and smart mobility in the world and this year’s theme is: ITS – Quality of life.

The ITS World Congress will host plenary and executive sessions with top of the league speakers from the industry world, and hundreds of special interest, technical, commercial and scientific sessions, each presenting some of the key issues in the transport business today.

There will be more than 400 exhibitors showcasing the latest ITS solutions and most advanced technologies on a 25,000 sqm exhibition floor. Some of the largest exhibitors already confirmed include Ertico’s partners Catapult Transport Systems, Denso Corporation, Dynniq, Here, Honda, Kapsch, NXP, Panasonic, PTV, Toyota, T-Systems, Vedecom, and many others.

Participants will have the opportunity to try out cutting-edge technologies during live demos outside the Congress venue.

The ITS World Congresses are a strategic opportunity for all mobility stakeholders to come together and make the necessary contacts to develop their business. The event showcases the host city’s latest achievements in the field of intelligent mobility solutions, supporting the hosts in increasing the awareness of the importance of new solutions and investments in the host region and country.

    The Call for Contributions for ITS World Congress in Copenhagen 2018 are now open with a deadline for 15 December 2017. Leading up to the event, the City of Copenhagen and the Danish Industry Foundation have hosted the first ITS Hackathon, which aims to motivate Danish businesses to test new ITS solutions in the urban environment.
