Camera manufacturer Basler is expanding its portfolio of cameras for intelligent traffic systems. The new Basler dart series has been designed to meet the need for basic, stripped-down cameras for simple traffic applications, such as access control or in-vehicle ALPR solutions. The new Basler dart series has been designed to meet the need for basic, stripped-down cameras for simple traffic applications, such as access control or in-vehicle ALPR solutions.      

For more demanding systems, Basler has equipped two ace GigE and two ace USB 3.0 models, as well as its IP cameras, with the powerful 576 Sony IMX174 sensor. With the python 5000 sensor from ON Semiconductor, Basler has integrated another powerful sensor in selected models of its ace camera series.
