97 Moxa, a global Provider of industrial automation solutions, will use Intertraffic Amsterdam 2014 to highlight a range of products that enable faster and critical decisions on road traffic events with highly efficient real-time solutions that enable network convergence and edge-to-core continuity. The company says its industrial networking solutions deliver dynamic mixes of voice, video and data in up to 10GbE speed, as well as resilient ring technology, that allows extensible transmission up to 120km and guarantees fast Ethernet recovery under 20ms.

A major new highlight for Intertraffic will be the world's first rugged -40 to 75°C wide temperature HP IP camera for resilient operation under harsh conditions. Moxa says that by leveraging its industrial Gigabit Ethernet switches, massive HD video data can be collected and transmitted over high-performance backbone networks.

Another key range being highlighted is the Moxa IKS-6728-8PoE series of Gigabit modular managed PoE+ Ethernet switches which are designed to meet the demands of mission critical wayside, CCTV and control room applications in ITS. They come with up to 24 10/100BaseT(X), or PoE/PoE+, and 4 combo Gigabit Ethernet ports and provide up to 30 watts of power per PoE+ port in standard mode. They also support high power output of up to 36watts for heavy-duty industrial PoE devices, such as weatherproof IP surveillance cameras with wipers/heaters, high-performance wireless access points, and rugged IP phones. The switches support two 48V DC and 110/220 V AC power inputs.
