One such smart solution is the company’s Narrow-Band Parking Sensor (NBPS), a wireless and autonomous sensor that is compact and easy to deploy for monitoring single parking spaces, allowing cities to better manage parking challenges.
NBPS mounted in the surface of individual parking spots detect vehicle presence and send that information to a central server. They do so by automatically communicating parking space status by NB-IoT network to the Smart Parking Cloud web platform.
The Imaging Source is attending Intertraffic Amsterdam 2014 to present its new 13 megapixel autofocus colour camera, based on Sony’s Exmor CMOS technology. The company says the fast autofocus and onboard image enhancement algorithms ensure exceptional image quality and colour reproduction, even in the most demanding light situations, such as traffic surveillance.

General Motors’ subsidiary Maven is expanding its peer-to-peer car-share option to more US cities.
The service – which sees owners renting out their vehicles - is currently available in four urban areas: Ann Arbor, Chicago, Denver and Detroit. But GM says it will now be rolled out in Baltimore, Boston, Jersey City, Los Angeles, San Francisco and Washington, DC by the end of the year.
