One such smart solution is the company’s Narrow-Band Parking Sensor (NBPS), a wireless and autonomous sensor that is compact and easy to deploy for monitoring single parking spaces, allowing cities to better manage parking challenges.
NBPS mounted in the surface of individual parking spots detect vehicle presence and send that information to a central server. They do so by automatically communicating parking space status by NB-IoT network to the Smart Parking Cloud web platform.
GeBE now supplies its GeBE Compact Plus printer in a new design, with a pre-assembled presentation unit to prevent damage when handling.
Until the final hand-over of the ticket, the presenter keeps the printout back, not allowing the user to pull it too early. If the printout is not taken within a specified time, the sensitive data remains protected by the return transport to the inside of the case using the paper-reject function.
The Barrier.Gate, an intelligent barrier system from Skidata, is an inexpensive solution for long-term parking facilities because it combines column and barrier in one product. Less consumption of energy and space are among its sustainable benefits. The barrier communicates via light signals of the integrated track light, while the built-in camera helps to prevent vandalism and unauthorised entry through a closing barrier.
Swarco’s answer to the integrated road transport environment is its Omnia platform, an easy-to-use, map-based graphical user interface that helps cities to manage all their traffic and transportation carriers, independently of whether they use Swarco systems or existing legacy systems.
Flir is offering two-day training course on incident detection and data collection from 22-23 March at the Novotel in Bruges, Belgium.
The interactive and hands-on training aims to provide participants with the ability be able to select the right camera for a project (analogue, IP, thermal), configure the detection boards on a fundamental level and manage received events and data from the detectors.
