One such smart solution is the company’s Narrow-Band Parking Sensor (NBPS), a wireless and autonomous sensor that is compact and easy to deploy for monitoring single parking spaces, allowing cities to better manage parking challenges.
NBPS mounted in the surface of individual parking spots detect vehicle presence and send that information to a central server. They do so by automatically communicating parking space status by NB-IoT network to the Smart Parking Cloud web platform.
Cloud Parc is debuting its smart parking camera solutions in the Entrepreneurial Village, highlighting its ability to automatically detect unused parking spaces through visual analysis. The call for contributions at the ITS World Congress in Copenhagen are now open under the theme ITS – Quality of Life, deadline 29 September 2017.
The 25th congress will focus on ITS solutions that contribute to livability, greener environment and lower congestion and will provide experts with the opportunity to present the latest ITS solutions and mobility technologies.
On 22 October 2012 the European Commission is organising its 3rd Conference on Intelligent Transport in Europe within the framework of the 19th ITS World Congress at Messe Wien, Room Stolz 1&2 and foyer Stolz. The main objective of the conference is to provide and discuss results of the ITS Action Plan and to present the status of the implementation of the ITS Directive 2010/40/EU. Additionally, the presentations will address legal issues for ITS deployment as well as European multimodal journey planners.
