7913 Kowa has added new lenses to its range, especially designed for ITS applications. These lenses have a mechanically modified focus ring which makes it easier to focus at distances of 10-45m, typical working distances for ITS applications.

This new version will initially be available for the six megapixel one-inch 35mm (LM35SC) and the four megapixel one-inch 25mm (LM25HC) C-mount lenses. The LM35SC matches perfectly with sensors down to 3μm pixel size such as the Sony ICX814 and ICX694 or the CMOSIS CMV4000.

The LM35HC matches sensors down to 5μm pixel size such as the Sony IMX174 and CMOSIS CMV2000.

In addition, Kowa also offers a range of full format and C-mount lenses suiting the special requirements of ITS applications such as higher resolution and faster F-stop. For demanding day and night ITS applications Kowa offers IR-corrected lenses with P-Iris, which has been co-developed by Kowa to make improve the traditional auto-iris by giving better control over the aperture.
