Kontron introduces box PC for IoT

Kontron’s new KBox A-202 is a modular box PC supporting Intel gateway solutions for the Internet of Things (IoT). Based on the Intel Atom processor E3800, the low maintenance, fanless and battery-free machine-to-machine platform is designed as an intelligent gateway for data intensive IoT applications including those in industrial automation, transportation and communications.

Based on the Intel Atom processor E3800, the low maintenance, fanless and battery-free machine-to-machine platform is designed as an intelligent gateway for data intensive IoT applications including those in industrial automation, transportation and communications.

The KBox A-202 is said to be easily deployed by those looking to exploit the IoT by connecting their systems with next-generation intelligent infrastructures. It comes with a range of industrial interfaces for new and legacy installations and connectivity options including wireless LTE (4G), GSM (2G/3G) or Wi-Fi.
