On 5 April, at the InnovationLAB at Intertraffic Amsterdam, 7623 HR Groep will launch Intelligent Public Space (IPS), the gateway to smart solutions and applications in public space.

IPS is a network for smart products and solutions in public spaces. According to the company, the added value of the solution plays a central role, not the product itself. Thanks to smart technologies, HR Groep says it is now possible to add additional functions to existing products and services, as a result of which a product or service will include an extra contribution.

HR Groep says management of assets becomes easy and cost efficient with IPS and that smart combinations make the public space safer, more sustainable and more comfortable.

Amsterdam reaps the reward of digitised parking
Amsterdam had taken the final step in digitising parking and parking enforcement and the move is paying dividends. It was almost a decade ago that the City of Amsterdam decided to start the evolution - or maybe even a revolution – of its parking enforcement: it got rid of the paper parking permit or ticket behind the windscreen and introduced the digital parking right.
