Metric's Richard Boultbee with the latest innovations in pay on foot equipment
92 Metric Group predicts that 2014 will go down in its long history as ‘the year of innovation’. The company is bringing to the market several innovations, not only to current concepts, but new ones as well. Visitors to Intertraffic Amsterdam 2014 have the opportunity of seeing these Metric innovations, across the parking industry from local government to retail and leisure, at first hand.

Here at Intertraffic, pay and display innovations include touch-screen terminals and the company is using the event to debut its latest Elite pay and display machines with a new touch-screen mode. High Definition video advertising is being shown on various machines on the stand where visitors can also see a pay by space with colour screen which is now available in solar power mode. Various terminals show Elites in pay by plate mode, with real-time transaction reporting.

Intertraffic also sees the international debut of Metric’s VivoPark ANPR solution which has been developed in conjunction with the retail industry. The concept has been designed as a solution to control parking where payment isn’t necessarily required – but parking control is. The Metric stand has payment and non-payment terminals of the equipment on demonstration.

The latest innovations in pay on foot equipment will be displayed in conjunction with Metric’s partner Amano. Meanwhile, Web ASLAN, Metric’s powerful back office solution is having a significant update, a new slick and modern interface will provide new cross-platform management tools for the parking operator, and Metric has undertaken a major overhaul to its remote monitoring, reporting and auditing software which will be demonstrated on its stand.

Richard Boultbee, Metric’s head of sales & marketing said “This year has already been a very exciting time for Metric and Intertraffic 2014 provides us with the ideal opportunity to showcase our latest developments.”
