2102 Instarmac will be showcasing its innovative range of highway maintenance and streetscape products. Following on from the company's success at the event in 2009, Instarmac will present various product ranges: Ultracrete's BBA/HAPAS Approved Ironwork Reinstatement Systems; its Permanent Pothole Repair, the renowned flexible pothole repair solution; and Ultrascape's BS 7533-compliant Mortar Paving System, the paving range of choice for regeneration projects across the UK and Europe. Daily demonstrations of these systems will be held on the stand, opposite the Instarmac Competition Zone, where both brands will be running a high-profile daily competition with fabulous prizes to give away.

    A consortium of Shell Deutschland Oil and Shell Energy Europe with partners ITM Power, SINTEF, thinkstep and Element Energy plans a project to install a large scale electrolyser to produce hydrogen at the Wesseling refinery site within the Rheinland Refinery Complex. With a capacity of ten megawatts, this would be the largest unit of its kind in Germany and the world’s largest PEM (Polymer Electrolyte Membrane) electrolyser.
