Visitors to Intertraffic Amsterdam 2016 will get to see the very latest traffic management product from 6626 Image Sensing Systems (ISS), an industry-leading developer of ITS above-ground detection technology.

The company has announced the addition of the next generation RTMS Sx-300 with HD camera to its traffic management product line. ISS says the combination of the state-of-the-art Sx-300 and this new HD camera provides a one-of-a-kind, all-in-one radar sensor for superior detection on roadways.

The RTMS Sx-300 HDCAM allows the user the ability to verify the zone setup across all lanes and facilitate real-time visual traffic surveillance anywhere, anytime. This high-definition camera not only produces clear crisp images, it also has dual streaming video channels. The company claims the Sx-300 provides the best lane detection capabilities available on the market and the accuracy needed to help keep the daily commute free of congestion.

“Never before has a high-precision radar detector been coupled with a high-definition camera, all in a single device,” says Dan Skites, Global General Manager – Highway Sensors. “The image quality from the Sx-300 HDCAM is simply astonishing. These multimodal sensors provide traffic management experts with the ability to collect traffic data and imagery to manage their roadways better than ever.”
