Mobility entrepreneurs will be presenting their cutting edge ITS ideas on Wednesday, June 15, in a special session called 'The Intelligent Pitch.' An ITS America version of the TV show Shark Tank, this high-paced dynamic session will give four startups the opportunity to test their pitches to venture capital investors.

“Entrepreneurs defiantly change the rules, change the world, because they are not afraid to fail and fail again until something amazingly beautiful comes out the other end,” said Bill Malkes, founder and CEO of the session's sponsor, 8097 Gridsmart Technologies. “We want to help them define their story that disrupts ITS.”

The four companies – Connected Signals, Wave Mobile Solutions, NoAppFee.com and SPLT – will make their pitches to a panel of judges, including Bill Malkes of Gridsmart Technologies; Quin Garcia, Managing Director, AutoTech Ventures; Chris Thomas, Co-Founder & Partner, Fontinalis Partners; Duncan Williams, Partner, GreenTech Capital Advisors.

Each pitch will involve an ITS application designed to save lives, time and money while helping to move people and goods from Point A to Point Z safely and without delay.

'The Intelligent Pitch' will be held 10:45 a.m.-12:45 p.m. in Executive Ballroom 210C. The winning entrepreneur will be announced at the ITS America closing keynote session later that day.
