1763 Econolite is showcasing its line of multitasking, simple-to-install, flexible, and scalable above- and in-ground detection solutions that the company says address virtually any intersection configuration and ITS program.

Econolite will feature the industry’s benchmark video detection platform – 6575 Autoscope. Combined with the recent release of the free software upgrade, Autoscope Cyclescope, this line of video detection sensors continues to provide new levels of traffic management capabilities, including enhanced bicycle differentiation.

In additon, Econolite will highlight its line of AccuScan forward-fire radar systems which is offered in three versions: AccuScan 300 and AccuScan 600 for stop-bar detection; and AccuScan 1000 for detection out to 1,000 feet – ideal for high-speed approaches and advanced detection.

Also being showcased is the company’s AccuSense line of wireless, in-ground solutions that deliver turnkey accurate and reliable vehicle and bicycle presence and movement in a virtually maintenance-free package that requires no trenching. This flexible system is completely weather independent, and can be installed wherever detection is desired.

Econolite is advising anyone who would like an in-depth look at how to select the optimal detection sensor by intersection configuration to visit the EGI Learning Center and view the “Making Sense of Sensors” recorded broadcast event: www.egilearningcenter.com/index.html

Visitors to Econolite’s booth can receive a live detection demonstration and be entered to win a new bicycle.

The company is also hosting a smoothie bar at the booth, so visitors can enjoy a  healthy smoothie as they catch up on all of Econolite’s ITS solutions.
