CohuHD Rise (Ruggedised Innovation with Superior Endurance) 4220HD dome camera positioning system combines HD image quality, bandwidth efficient H.264 compression and advanced traffic analytics that counts, classifies and provides speed of vehicles.

The 4220HD is built on the latest technologies – camera sensors, optics, encoding/ compression, operating software, enclosure protection and positioning drive trains.

The system features full HD 1080p image quality combined with powerful 30x optical and 12x digital zoom, very low-light sensitivity, automatic image defog and dehase analytics, and electronic image stabilisation (EIS).

Rugged sealed and nitrogen-pressurized IP68 construction protects against extreme adverse conditions such as shock and vibration, smog, fog, low-light and temperature up to 74°C.

In addition, the RISE 4220HD provides a full function web server delivering administrative and operator control capabilities. Administrative features include configuring network settings, user password assignments, setting video streaming properties, and configuring camera imaging properties.

The challenge for surveillance systems is to ensure Power-over-Ethernet (PoE) switches provide high-power output and sufficient network bandwidth while remaining available and reliable. They must do so even when operating in extreme environments such as high temperatures, much noise and potentially high cybersecurity risks. To meet this challenge, Moxa says it launched its EDS-P506E-4PoE series of PoE switches. As well as being exceptionally rugged, each of the switch's four ports deliver up to 60W to powe

Someone once likened predicting the future to ‘nailing a jelly to the wall’. With ITS, C-ITS and V2X technology progressing at such a pace, predicting the future is more akin to trying to nail three jellies to the wall – but only having one nail. And yet with roadways having a lifetime measured in decades, that is exactly what highway engineers and traffic planners are expected to do. Fortunately, New Hampshire DoT (NHDoT) believes its technological advances may be able to provide a solution. The Central Ne
