The new Berghaus ProTec50 mobile crash barrier
102 Peter Berghaus will use Intertraffic Amsterdam 2014 to present its latest portable traffic engineering products.

These include the MPB 3400 construction site traffic light with quartz, cable or radio control for simultaneous use of various modes such as request, fixed phase and green on request. Further signal heads can be simply added for controlling alternating one-way, or crossroads, traffic.

Berghaus will also be presenting its export hit, the MPB 1400, with LED technology, incorporating quartz control for alternating one-way traffic and crossroads traffic. The company says that users of this multilingual mobile traffic light are guided through the menu as easily as using a TV remote control.

The new MPB 44 M/S mobile traffic light system for traffic safety professionals is based on the MPB 4400 system that has proven its worth so outstandingly in practice, and permits flexible control of up to 12 LED signal groups.

Berghaus says the new central controller can be used with just one joint cable connection for data bus and 42 volt power supply to control many traffic situations, ranging from alternating one-way traffic to vehicle-actuated crossroads, with pedestrian crossings on request, and much more besides.

Berghaus partner, service Provider AVS Traffic Safety Group, will also be in Amsterdam to show the full range of services available for professional traffic safety and will feature the latest addition to the ProTec roadworks safety family, the mobile ProTec 50 crash barrier, together with the proven ProTec 100, ProTec 120 and ProTec 160 crash Barrier Systems.
