8674 Appyparking is using Intertraffic to showcase a connected car platform that is said to bridge mapping, data, Internet of Things and payments drivers to provide users with more choice for destinations. The solution aims to save drivers time and money while also reducing congestion and pollution in cities.
The product is part of the company’s ambition to create an urban transport application programming interface for kerbside navigation that can integrate into intelligent mobility applications which has earned Appyparking an accolade of the 15th most disruptive company in the world.
Governor of Colorado Jared Polis has signed an executive order which outlines a suite of initiatives to support a transition to zero emission vehicles (ZEV) in the US state.
Polis says: “Our goal is to reach 100% renewable electricity by 2040 and embrace the green energy transition already underway economy-wide”
He believes the public health and environmental benefits of widespread transportation electrification will increase as the state moves towards a cleaner electric grid.

Laser Technology is exhibiting its latest TruCapture and TruSense systems on its booth. TruCapture uses expanding optics to create an elongated laser beam with an optimum detection range of between 66 and 164ft (20 and 50m) and speed measurements are accurate within 3mph (5km/h) in traffic management mode and 1mph (1.6km/h) in enforcement mode.
Dynniq is looking to implement a holistic approach to help cities streamline their traffic flows, based on different pillars, including ImFLow, GreenFLow, CrossCycle and CrossWalk. And here at Intertraffic, for the first time ever, the company has brought all of these applications together in a single virtual reality experience. Streetline will showcase smart parking technology that combines sensors and a suite of applications to provide cities with real time and historical data and offer flexible parking options for residents and visitors while reducing traffic congestion in downtown areas. As the company points out, cities are facing the challenge of aging infrastructure, a growing population and limited financial resources.
