US-based industrial networking developer, 7906 Antaira Technologies, has added the IMP-C1000-SFP series Ethernet-to-fibre media converter to its range.

The device features a dual rate 100/1000 SFP slot and a 10/100/1000Tx Ethernet port that supports 6781 IEEE 802.3 at high power PoE requirements and can supply up to 30 Watts. The compact IP30 rated gigabit unit is designed for industrial applications that require distance extension and high bandwidth capabilities in locations experiencing extreme ambient conditions (up to -40°C to 80°C for the extended operating temperature version), making it suitable for ITS applications.

It comes with a built-in Link Fault Pass Through and Far End Fault function with redundant power input 48~55VDC and can support DIN-rail as well as wall mountable orientations.
