6666 WSP/4983 Parsons Brinckerhoff has commissioned specialist sustainable transport consultancy, Go Travel Solutions, to support their delivery of a new Go Smarter Business Network in areas of North East England.

The Go Smarter Business Network has been developed to meet the transport needs of businesses across the North East Combined Authority (NECA) area and help encourage employees to adopt a greener commute to work.

The Network will be focused around four facilitated meetings per year where members can hear from professionals in this field and share knowledge and best practice with each other. It also provides member organisations with access to exclusive travel discounts for their staff through membership of Go Travel Solutions’ Smartgo workplace travel programme.

Aside from its involvement in the Go Smarter Business Network, Smartgo operates workplace travel networks in other areas of the country with more planned. Smartgo has been developed to provide employers and their staff with a package of travel discounts and a web based membership system to engage employers and their staff.
