Winners of 2017 Intertraffic Istanbul Awards announced

The winners of the 2017 Intertraffic Istanbul Awards, which are judged on a range of criteria, including significant technical improvement, effective support for traffic management and ease of application, among others, have just been announced. The Municipality Award goes to Turkish company ISSD Bilisim for its development of the Chaos dynamic intersection control system.

Belgian company 3838 Nedap has won the Smart Parking Solutions Award for its wireless parking sensor system Sensit, which is installed in Izmir, Turkey.

19 Aselsan’s integrated multilane free flow electronic toll collection system for open road tolling won the Smart Transportation Award, while the Achievement Award went to the Istanbul metropolitan municipality, Istanbul buyuk sehir.
