It is the first time that delegates will ‘tap-in’ and ‘tap –out’ at entry validators as they move throughout the exhibition and conferencing areas and in doing so qualify for competitions and incentives. The feature will give attendees first-hand experience of some of the ticketing capabilities that Vix offers.

Bryan Simms, managing director, UK & Ireland said, ‘Our smartcards will make it easier for delegates to get access to the event and conference rooms - bringing to life a passenger experience and enabling the event team to collect data on 'load and flow' just as Vix does for its many customers in the transport market. It's a pleasure to bring some of our technology to the event for everyone to use, and we look forward to welcoming delegates to our stand at the event.’

Zehra Chudry, head of Content, Transport Ticketing World Series said, ‘We are delighted to be working with Vix on a partnership which will create a different, innovative addition to our audience experience across all regions. As an industry renowned event which explores how to make the customer journey smoother, we are very excited to practise what we preach with the introduction of this smart ticketing element.’
