ITS America has been awarded a five-year research and stakeholder support services contract with the US Department of Transportation.

The indefinite-delivery/indefinite-quantity (Idiq) deal includes implementing services in ITS research programme management, stakeholder engagement, technical information sharing, analytical and communication services and deployment support for current and future USDoT ITS activities.

“ITS America is honoured to support continued progress in developing, deploying and scaling the impact of ITS technologies nationwide,” said Laura Chace, president and CEO of ITS America.

“Our long-term commitment to the ITS Joint Program Office mission and vision, our expertise amongst our staff and members, and our ability to convene a diverse and collaborative group of ITS stakeholders will be assets to the successful execution of this work, and in providing for the broader needs of the transportation industry.”

ITS America has provided USDoT with various services over the last 20 years, including training, public engagement and outreach, and research.
