8236 Tuup has become the first operator of Mobility as a Service (MaaS) in Finland, piloting the concept from this month.

It has been realised for many years that a car is not the most efficient way of moving around a city. However, it can be difficult for residents to know which form of transport is the fastest at any given moment.

Tuup has produced an app that checks a user’s calendar and finds the best mobility options for that day – such as bike, foot, taxi, shared car or public transport. Tuup is presenting its new app at the Finnish Pavilion.
