There is a rare opportunity for dynamic companies, whose entrepreneurs have cutting-edge technologies and ideas in the fields of mobility, sustainability, and transportation safety. The Transportation for Tomorrow Investor Matching Event at this year’s ITS World Congress will allow them to sit across the table and pitch to premier financial and strategic investment groups with the capital that could allow them to take their ideas and technologies from the garage to the marketplace or take their existing business to the next level.

The three sponsoring companies participating in the Investor Matching Event cover the transportation technology investment spectrum and their support indicates the continued and growing interest to invest in the world’s leading innovators that are redefining the entrepreneurial ecosystem in Intelligent Transportation. 1072 Fontinalis Partners specialises in investing in emerging early-stage and growth-stage companies throughout the next-generation mobility space. 1763 Econolite participates as the corporate strategic sponsor and Raymond James focuses on assisting companies to raise capital and execute strategic transactions.

There’s still time if you act quickly: the deadline for submitting an application to participate in the Investor Matching Event is August 18, 2014. Qualified candidates must submit an application in the form of a competitive business plan. ITS America and its investment partners will evaluate the submitted applications on the strength of their proposal, and will select a limited number to pitch in Detroit.

In addition to the Investor Matching Event, the Transportation for Tomorrow program will feature for the first time ever at an ITS World Congress an Entrepreneurial Village on the exhibit floor where emerging companies and startups will have a dedicated space for promoting their most innovative ideas and technologies that are fuelling smarter cities and fundamentally changing the way we move.
