Transportation around the world with Intertraffic events

With two events in one month, Intertraffic is introducing a number of new initiatives during Intertraffic China and Intertraffic Istanbul. Intertraffic China takes place from 4-6 May in Shanghai followed by Intertraffic Istanbul from 24-26 May at the Istanbul Expo Center.


Organised by RAI Amsterdam together with its regional partner Transport Technology Exchange Center (TTEC) and ITS China, this year’s Intertraffic China will occupy two halls at the Shanghai New International Exhibition Center (SNIEC) with around 200 national and international exhibitors.

A matchmaking programme for visitors and exhibitors to optimise business opportunities will be introduced, as well as a field trip to the autonomous cars test area (A Nice City project) in Shanghai. Strategic topics and best practice are incorporated in the seminar programme, with presentations on topics such as how to do business in China, China’s auto industry in the age of disruption and predictive marketing cloud, big data solution for smart marketing in automotive industry.

The Intertraffic event in Istanbul, held at the Istanbul Expo Center in cooperation with regional partner UBM NTSR, has a strong focus on the Eurasian and MENA region. A conference and workshop programme runs alongside the exhibition, including AUSDER conferences on big data and projects in Turkey, while Carlo van de Weijer of the Eindhoven University of Technology will discuss the Future of Mobility. The 2015 International Road Federation (IRF) will run workshops on smart solutions for safer mobility, successfully deploying automated speed enforcement programmes, roadway analytics, the latest developments on connected and cooperative vehicles, vehicle-to-infrastructure and vehicle-to-vehicle communications and the rise of disruptive technologies in transportation.
