Electronic money, payment systems and financial markets software provider TAS Group will officially reveal its new Card 3.0 platform at CARTES 2013.

The modular card management platform enables financial institutions to design, issue and manage payment cards and other digital products quickly and securely. TAS Group created the platform in response to a changing global payments marketplace as new EMV chip card technologies deploy in the USA and as mobile and loyalty solutions are becoming more widely adopted worldwide.

These advances have created new opportunities for banks, processors and other financial organizations to target payments products better tailored to customer needs. Card 3.0 provides these financial institutions with a quick and secure framework for deploying and managing these new products, helping to enhance the user experience. The platform uses the latest EMV, mobile and loyalty payments technologies and is fully compliant with all PCI standards and the latest EMVCo specifications. CARD 3.0 has been designed as a framework, with plug-in components, a modular approach that enables customers to adapt to existing products and solutions while accelerating their time to market for new ones. "This is an exciting development for TAS as Card 3.0 lets our customers self-design and issue multi-application payments solutions to market quicker than ever before," said Andrea Bianchi, executive VP of TAS. "Card 3.0 combines our long experience in payments with the very latest payments technologies to more easily integrate new payment channels, like e-wallets and mobile apps, increase performance and manage higher volume of transactions for our customers."
