129 Swarco – Parking & eMobility UK (formerly 988 APT Controls Group) is exhibiting a range of intelligent technologies from three of its businesses units that enhance the customer journey and parking experience at Parkex on 15 and 16 June in Coventry.

1774 APT Skidata will be showcasing its SWEB Business Services and SWAPPAccess payment solutions, which, in conjunction with existing Skidata products can reduce operator costs and enhance the customer experience when parking. APT Skidata’s cloud based Business Services will also add further payment methods to the current range of options such as Apple Pay, PayPal, contactless card, chip and pin and cash.

APT Skidata will also demonstrate how, with the use of its Bluetooth iBeacons and e-tickets, barriers seamlessly and automatically raise for the registered or reserved parker. Also on display will be Mobile.Gate, which can cater for both fast exit scenarios (e.g. stadium events) and sites requiring a temporary ‘pop-up’ car parking facility. All access devices, including the new Lite.Gate door reader, will be managed through Version 9.0 parking software, which provides car park operators with additional features and reporting functionality.

Veri-park will demonstrate how its ticketless parking solutions enhance the driver experience and reduce operator costs. Working in conjunction with both barriers and barrier-less technologies, Veri-park customers log their payment and licence plate details on a secure cloud platform. Vehicles are then identified via integrated ANPR to provide seamless entry and exit, as well as greater accuracy and fairness in parking time and payments. Also being showcased will be Veri-park’s new hotel solution, which introduces multiple validation and tariff options for guests and visitors alike.

Veri-park’s ticketless solutions provide a viable alternative to traditional payment systems.  Helping to decrease delays at entry and exit points, improving traffic flows and reducing hardware maintenance costs for car park operators, it offers a dynamic solution that is ideal for markets such as hospitals, supermarkets and retail parks.

In addition, Evolt, the electric vehicle (EV) charge point supplier, will be showcasing its range of charging solutions.
