5564 Skyline Technology Solutions is introducing the OneView video sharing solution at ITS World Congress. Expanding on Skyline’s OneView Portal, this integrated solution empowers transportation agencies to share video with a wide range of stakeholders.
“Issues such as network security, video compatibility, network bandwidth and the ability to scale have prevented agencies from sharing video that would enhance traffic management, emergency response, public safety and public awareness,” explained Brent Isenberg, Skyline business development. “OneView enables a level of sharing that has not been there before.”
The desire to retrieve images from more and more locations means that IP video networks’ geographic coverage is growing all the time. In parallel, those same networks are becoming more densely populated with cameras. Although the individual cameras may only take 3Mb/s of bandwidth at average resolutions and frame rates, their cumulative effect is pushing jurisdictions towards the use of Gigabit Ethernet.
Intertraff is unveiling its next generation speed and red light enforcement camera, D-cop. The company, which has installed hundreds of cameras worldwide from the USA to India, has been developing and producing ANPR cameras and software alongside speed and red light cameras for 15 years.
Organizing committees are gearing up for the next two ITS World Congress and Exhibitions, using ITS America 2013 to ensure continuity between the shows, cultivate interest and build momentum.
The 43rd European Transport Conference, organised by the Association for European Transport, takes place at Campus Westend, Goethe University, Frankfurt, Germany on 28 - 30 September 2015.
