5564 Skyline Technology Solutions is introducing the OneView video sharing solution at ITS World Congress. Expanding on Skyline’s OneView Portal, this integrated solution empowers transportation agencies to share video with a wide range of stakeholders.
“Issues such as network security, video compatibility, network bandwidth and the ability to scale have prevented agencies from sharing video that would enhance traffic management, emergency response, public safety and public awareness,” explained Brent Isenberg, Skyline business development. “OneView enables a level of sharing that has not been there before.”

Visitors to Intertraffic Amsterdam 2014 will have an opportunity of seeing these Metric innovations, across the parking industry from local government to retail and leisure, at first hand.
Among several new products that RuggedCom will unveil at the ITS World Congress is the RS900GP, a 10-port PoE managed Ethernet switch with gigabit uplink ports. It comes standard with eight PoE+ ports and optional dual gigabit ports for fibre or copper. With a total power budget of 240 Watts, a single switch can power multiple CCTV cameras and wireless access points with the capacity for additional devices.
Signpost Solutions, a UK-based specialist in passive safety since 1996, will use Intertraffic Amsterdam 2014 for the international launch of Optimast, a new range of highly competitive passively safe sign masts. The company says that Optimast plugs a gap in its ability to commercially meet the requirements for certain bending capacities which in the past would have necessitated a largely over-engineered design.
