5564 Skyline Technology Solutions is introducing the OneView video sharing solution at ITS World Congress. Expanding on Skyline’s OneView Portal, this integrated solution empowers transportation agencies to share video with a wide range of stakeholders.
“Issues such as network security, video compatibility, network bandwidth and the ability to scale have prevented agencies from sharing video that would enhance traffic management, emergency response, public safety and public awareness,” explained Brent Isenberg, Skyline business development. “OneView enables a level of sharing that has not been there before.”
Norwegian company SafeRoad will use Intertraffic Amsterdam 2014 to present SafeEnd, a new generation of energy absorbing end terminals, developed and tested according to the ENV 1317-4 and prEN 1317-7 standards. Features of the product are fast and easy installation, narrow width to allow usage at places with limited space, and low weight. The terminal can be used in combination with any existing safety barrier system, on central reservations as well as along the roadside.
Iteris is introducing at Intertraffic Amsterdam 2014 its revolutionary new video image processing platform, designed for high performance detection while reducing time, space, and cost. The company says that VantageNext combines nearly 20 years of global video detection expertise with the most innovative system available today.
CAMEA WIM, developed and manufactured by CAMEA image and signal processing, is a turnkey solution for weigh-in-motion applications, from traffic reports to enforcement. According to CAMEA, the high speed system allows vehicles thought to be overloaded to be pre-selected and directed to a precise weigh station without impact on traffic flow. The CAMEA WIM – type approved for weight enforcement in the Czech Republic – also provides rich sets of traffic data in database format for export in standard formats.
ETSI, the European Telecommunications Standards Institute, is exhibiting at the ITS World Congress to explain the work of its technical committee for ITS in developing standards for all aspects of ITS communication systems.
