5564 Skyline Technology Solutions is introducing the OneView video sharing solution at ITS World Congress. Expanding on Skyline’s OneView Portal, this integrated solution empowers transportation agencies to share video with a wide range of stakeholders.
“Issues such as network security, video compatibility, network bandwidth and the ability to scale have prevented agencies from sharing video that would enhance traffic management, emergency response, public safety and public awareness,” explained Brent Isenberg, Skyline business development. “OneView enables a level of sharing that has not been there before.”
International Road Dynamics (IRD) is highlighting a deployment of its weigh-in-motion solution on the Stonecutters Bridge in Hong Kong, showing how the system is able to calculate vehicle weights to predict potential stresses in the roadway.
Sensefields’ traffic monitoring system uses easily installed wireless sensors to determine vehicle speed and, in urban situations, also for categorisation. Information from the sensor is sent in real time to the data processing station to determine the capacity (vehicles per hour) in each lane, average speed, speed distribution, average vehicle length, length distribution, density, average headway between vehicles and occupancy (%).
Canada-headquartered International Road Dynamics (IRD) will be attending the ITS World Congress to present integrated ITS solutions that make highways more efficient. The company will showcase products, software, and fully integrated systems for automated truck weigh stations using high-speed and low speed weigh-in-motion (WIM), automated toll collection and audit systems, advanced traffic data collection, security and access control, and fleet management using GPS.
The ITS Australia pavilion here in is displaying pioneering technologies produced by Australian companies that are leading their fields on the global market. The exhibitors participating in the national pavilion are part of an Australian delegation of more than 150 professionals that have arrived to attend the 21st ITS World Congress.
