5564 Skyline Technology Solutions is introducing the OneView video sharing solution at ITS World Congress. Expanding on Skyline’s OneView Portal, this integrated solution empowers transportation agencies to share video with a wide range of stakeholders.
“Issues such as network security, video compatibility, network bandwidth and the ability to scale have prevented agencies from sharing video that would enhance traffic management, emergency response, public safety and public awareness,” explained Brent Isenberg, Skyline business development. “OneView enables a level of sharing that has not been there before.”
ComNet, a manufacturer of fiber optic transmission and networking equipment, is showcasing its latest five-port Ethernet switch on the showroom floor at ITS America. Designed to include proprietary self-managing technology, the switch requires no user intervention and is pre-programmed to avoid flooding the network.
Xerox is also showcasing its dynamic pricing technology at their booth, highlighting its tolling and parking applications. The company’s pricing algorithm dynamically computes the toll price at a pre-configured frequency by processing traffic data from general purpose and HOT lanes in real-time.
Innovations of several separate divisions of Bosch are displayed on the company’s booth at this year’s ITS America expo, as Bosch brings together solutions from its Security Systems, Software Innovations and Automotive divisions.
