5564 Skyline Technology Solutions is introducing the OneView video sharing solution at ITS World Congress. Expanding on Skyline’s OneView Portal, this integrated solution empowers transportation agencies to share video with a wide range of stakeholders.
“Issues such as network security, video compatibility, network bandwidth and the ability to scale have prevented agencies from sharing video that would enhance traffic management, emergency response, public safety and public awareness,” explained Brent Isenberg, Skyline business development. “OneView enables a level of sharing that has not been there before.”
Speed camera specialist Truvelo Manufacturers has chosen Intertraffic Amsterdam 2014 to launch the latest D-Cam R speed and red light camera system. The latest member of the D-Cam family, it uses the same technology platform as the existing D-Cam P and the D-Cam L and continues that pedigree.
Two new joint venture companies were introduced to the industry at Intertraffic yesterday. They were created by P&D Specialist Services and Bartco Traffic Equipment in an initiative aimed at tackling new international markets. The first joint venture company is Bartco UK which will be Europe’s first manufacturer of portable, solar-powered, five-colour matrix variable message signs, according to the firm.
Peek Traffic Corporation will use the ITS America Annual Meeting to announce the next addition to the range of Peek ATC controllers and the release of IQ Central v1.17.
The Call for Papers for the 2016 TS European Congress that has been very successful, say the organisers, with over 300 papers and more than 60 special interest session proposals around the five main topics.
