5564 Skyline Technology Solutions, an IT integration company, will launch Claris, one of their two systems being demonstrated at the ITS America Annual Meeting & Expo. The Claris Platform and Product Suite normalises and securely delivers live video and data feeds via permissions access through any device type, including mobile. The company partnered with Maryland Coordination and Analysis Center (MCAC) to architect a customised version of Claris and its portal dashboard.

There are currently over 35 organisations accessing the MCAC portal, and that number is increasing. The portal has over 5,000 video feeds and is on target to have upwards of 10,000 live video feeds by the end of 2015. Over 2,000 users from over 100 Federal, National Capital Region (NCR), State, and County organisations are registered on the system.

As Art LeClair, Product Group Director explains, “Maryland wanted to primarily create a video interoperability portal by integrating Federal, Regional, State, and local video feeds into a user-friendly situational awareness portal. MCAC was tapped as the agency to drive the initiative from inception to production, aggregating feeds from ITS, Emergency Management and Schools into a global group for a specific incident or event within a matter of minutes. It’s been leveraged for events like the Presidential Inauguration to train accidents, Marine Corps Marathon and other events, and we are looking forward to talking about it in Pittsburgh.”

An in-show demo of Claris and or Vero - the premium virtual video wall solution - can be reserved at this link: www.skylinenet.net/ITSA
