Daniel Hobohm from Siemens conceals the "ground-breaking innovation"
Get ready for an industry-changing announcement on the 189 Siemens stand at 2pm this afternoon. Until then, the company is being tight-lipped about what will be unveiled, but what is promised is “a ground-breaking Siemens innovation, which will change the rules of the game in urban traffic control”.

Underlining the importance of this new product, the unveiling will be undertaken by Dirk John, CEO of Road and City Mobility, Siemens, Markus Schlitt, Head of ITS, Siemens, and Wilke Reints, Head of Development, ITS, Siemens.

But that’s not the only big news that Intertraffic visitors will get first hand from Siemens. Tomorrow from 10-11am in Room G104, the company is going to present a White Paper: Traffic Management Transformed – Moving cities forward – a how-to manual for regional and national capitals. Transport experts from Credo Business Consulting performed a survey-based analysis on behalf of Siemens on the key levers for alleviating cities from congestion by a successful implementation of traffic management systems. Credo performed a survey with experts from cities and derived a toolkit for regional and national capitals to capitalise on traffic management, and the results and conclusions of that work will be presented by Dirk John.

More generally, highlighting its “mobility solutions of tomorrow” based on three key attributes - integrated, intelligent, and innovative, Siemens will also make a lasting technological impression at Intertraffic, with several key presentations of new modules in the Sitraffic system platform.
