Schrader reaches TPMS milestone with 200 million sensors produced

Schrader, a leading global manufacturer of sensing and valve solutions, has announced the production of its 200 millionth direct tyre pressure monitoring system (TPMS) sensor, which came off Schrader’s Antrim, Northern Ireland facility production line.

RSS1955 Schrader, a leading global manufacturer of sensing and valve solutions, has announced the production of its 200 millionth direct tyre pressure monitoring system (TPMS) sensor, which came off Schrader’s Antrim, Northern Ireland facility production line.

Some 306 million sensors are installed in North America alone, with well over half being produced by Schrader. Schrader delivered its 100 millionth sensor in July 2009, and the company presses onward toward the production of its 300 millionth sensor with new TPMS legislative markets including Europe, South Korea, and other Asian-Pacific countries.
