Sanef its wins two Eurotunnel contracts

Sanef its has been awarded two major contracts by Eurotunnel, to redesign the HGV parking facility in Coquelles, in the Pas-de-Calais, France and to reorganise the Eurotunnel freight terminal both in France and England. 6723 Sanef ITS Technologies has been awarded two major contracts by Eurotunnel, to redesign the HGV parking facility in Coquelles, in the Pas-de-Calais, France and to reorganise the Eurotunnel freight terminal both in France and England.

Sanef its, which won the ten-year design, build, operate (DBO) contract to redesign the HGV parking facility, will design, integrate and install all the toll equipment enabling drivers to pay and access the terminal 2015 secured HGV parking facility.

Other Sanef companies of the Sanef Group will also be involved in this project, including: Eurotoll which issues TIS-PL electronic toll cards and provides the e-plug&toll intermediation service enabling Eurotunnel to accept TIS-PL badges; and Sanef Exploitation which supervises toll equipment for accessing parking facilities.

The company is also to reorganise the Eurotunnel freight terminal in order to improve freight traffic fluidity and increase toll capacities to address growing freight traffic and improve the service quality of the truck parking facility in Coquelles.  In England, a new five-lane toll plaza dedicated to freight traffic is to be built, while in France, the manual and automatic toll system equipment and operating equipment on six lanes will be renovated.
