The 22nd 6456 ITS World Congress in Bordeaux will be host to 35 live, technical and interactive ITS demonstrations, each of which will take place in the immediate vicinity of the Congress Exhibition Hall during the World Congress.

The demonstrations characterise the seven topics of the congress, including: Space technologies and services for ITS; Cooperative ITS deployment challenges; Multimodal transport for people and goods; Urban trends driving ITS changes; Solutions for sustainable mobility; Automated roads, automated management, automated driving; Are big data and open data transport’s ‘silver bullets’?

Attendees can participate in the demonstrations in two ways – either as an ‘actor’ or a spectator.

Actors will actively participate in the demonstrations as either drivers or passengers of the demos. This option is only available to participants who register prior to the demonstration either online or onsite at the demo lounge (Hall 1, Gate 5) in the exhibition area.

For spectators there will be several pedestrian observation areas located around the demonstration areas. World Congress attendees can access these observation areas as spectators to watch the demonstrations without prior registration for the demonstrations.
