It is the principal annual event for the international community of practitioners, policy makers and academics from across Europe to come together to debate key issues, highlight developments in mobility planning and exchange ideas and experience.

Under the overall theme of the conference, ‘Sustainable mobility for everyone’, nine parallel sessions will explore topics as diverse as: Data collection to inform Sustainable Urban Mobility Plan preparation. How do we begin to address the problem of mobility poverty? And how should we adapt the approach to Sustainable Urban Mobility Plan preparation to be suitable for small cities with limited resources? Each of these sessions will include presentations by experts on these subjects, case studies from across Europe, as well as facilitated discussions to ensure that all conference attendees are able to share their views and experience.

The conference will provide the opportunity for delegates to hear about SUMP preparations for the Bucharest-Ilfov agglomeration, Timisoara, Cluj-Napoca, Brasov and Suceava.
