"Not only is this feature of great importance for the US market, but also it increases the reliability of the recognitions’ results in some Arabian countries,” says Edu Gil, Car Access sales manager in the EMEA.

Intertraffic also gives Quercus the opportunity to launch a new version of the non-intrusive traffic sensor SmartLoop TS, which the company says highlights its core philosophy of providing user-friendly products that improve user experience during installation and setup.

With the new Wizard provided with SmartLoop TS, the user will be just a few clicks away from setting up the unit in an easy and fast manner. Able to control up to 35 detection zones, the new traffic sensor combines advanced algorithms that manage external factors in order to provide the best results such as vehicle presence detection, queue occupancy percentages and traffic statistics in any situation.

Sílvia Vilanova, marketing director, also points out that Quercus is using Intertraffic to present new housings for several of its LPR family products and BirdWatch Red Light enforcement products. “The new housings represent just the first step towards future hardware and software developments that are already in the making and emphasise Quercus’ vision of providing more user-friendly and accessible ways for the user to interact with the units.”
