Electronic payment solutions provider PAX Technology is determined to push into new markets after success in Brazil and China. Already, 300,000 Brazilian customers have received solutions using PAX D-series MPOS products (D180, D200 and D210) and the company insists there is more to come. “We believe that we are on the right track towards sustainable growth,” says Jack Lu, CEO of PAX Global. In June’s Nilson Report the company was ranked number three in the world in terms of terminal shipments in 2013. “We have a strong confidence in our mPOS products to enjoy the sustained boom, as the mobile payment terminal market will continue its rapid expansion,” says Gilberto Novaes, regional sales director at PAX. So far the company has more than six million terminal units in use, with coverage in over 80 countries. PAX says it retains high customer loyalty in mature markets, while securing major breakthroughs to win new customers in emerging ones. The company will listen to clients, learn from counterparts and make contributions “to the innovation and development of payments industry”, Lu adds.
