Parsons Brinckerhoff appoints new VP

Following a 34-year career with the 451 Washington State Department of Transportation (WSDOT), latterly as secretary of transportation, Paula Hammond has been named senior vice president and national transportation market leader at 4983 Parsons Brinckerhoff.

In her new position, Hammond will be responsible for working with transportation agencies across the US, including the 324 US Department of Transportation (USDOT), and will continue her involvement with the 4944 American Association of State Highway and Transportation Officials (AASHTO), the Women’s Transportation Seminar (WTS), the 856 Transportation Research Board, and other key national transportation organizations.  

Her focus includes advancing transportation policy and programs at a national level. Based in Parsons Brinckerhoff’s Seattle office, she will also be available to provide strategic advice to clients in a wide variety of areas.
