Nominees for 2015 ITS Hall of Fame awards announced

Nominations for the 2015 ITS Hall of Fame Awards have now closed and the European Members of the Board of Directors will now be invited to vote in each of these three categories. The nine nominations in the industry category include Atkins, Continental, Fujitsu Sen, Here and others, while local government nominations include AustriaTech, the Finnish Ministry of Transport and Communications, the city of Helmond and Hamburg Port Authority. Nominations for the 2015 ITS Hall of Fame Awards have now closed and the European Members of the Board of Directors will now be invited to vote in each of these three categories.

The nine nominations in the industry category include 1677 Atkins, 260 Continental, 5163 Fujitsu Sen, 7643 Here and others, while local government nominations include 4793 AustriaTech, the Finnish Ministry of Transport and Communications, the city of Helmond and Hamburg Port Authority.

Nominees for the lifetime achievement award include: Dainius Diska; Richard Harris; Minna Kivimäki; Alf Peterson; Eric Sampson; and Lee Woodcock.

The results will be announced at the end of August and the three awards will be presented at the 22nd 6456 ITS World Congress in Bordeaux, France, 5-9 October 2015.
