In addition, MNOs, banks, merchants and transport authorities offer secure NFC services and NFC is enabling many use cases in addition to payment in combination with location-based services and loyalty, the organisation says.

Eurosmart’s stand is hosting a variety of live demonstrations on mobility and security, plus the protection of data and privacy at CARTES this week. Areas covered include secure government services, cloud services and biometrics on smartphone for e-payment and smart mobile ticketing.
