97 Moxa now offers centralised control over the Ethernet network, with the new MXstudio Industrial Network Management Suite, on demonstration at ITS World Congress 2014.

MXstudio is a suite of tools for installation, operation, maintenance, diagnostics and troubleshooting – available as a free downoad from www.moxa.com.

The suite includes Moxa’s MXview network management software, MXconfig network configuration tool, and N-Snap industrial network snapshot tool.
“MXstudio combines all the tools you need to throughout the network lifecycle in one solution,” said Jei Mercado, Moxa product marketing specialist.
MXstudio’s three key benefits – easy configuration, smart visualisation, and quick troubleshooting – are designed to meet the demands of industrial automation networks.

“MXstudio enables users to maximise productivity with Moxa industrial Ethernet solutions,” added Ray Hsu, assistant manager, product marketing, Moxa.

MXview provides auto discovery of network devices and physical connections; event playback for quick troubleshooting; and colour-coded VLAN/IGMP groups and other visualsed network data.

MXconfig offers mass configuration to reduce setup time; topology analysis to eliminate manual setting errors; and configuration overview for efficient management.

Also part of MXstudio, N-Snap is a standalone data collection tool to take network snapshots for quick troubleshooting.
