He leads the design, engineering, safety, quality, research and development, advanced vehicle technology and program management of the company's cars, trucks and crossovers around the world.
In addition, Reuss oversees GM’s Global purchasing and supply chain organisation, and is a member of its executive leadership team and the board of Shanghai General Motors.
Between 2009-2014, he was president of GM North America, where he was responsible for its performance, manufacturing, portfolio and dealer network.

The largest conference on the pan-European eCall in Germany will take place on 23–24 September in Berlin, Germany. Aptiv has opened a technical centre in Las Vegas, US, to gather insights on its fleet of autonomous vehicles (AVs) and to improve safety operator training.
Aptiv says its AVs are supporting more than 1,600 destinations across Clark County and the city, including entertainment venues such as the Las Vegas Convention Center and City Hall.
