7872 Marben Products is here at the ITS World Congress flushed with major successes achieved this year. The US NHTSA connected vehicle decision and the French government Scoop@F initiative (3,000 vehicles and 2,000 km of roads equipped with V2X) are new significant steps towards the large scale deployment of the Vehicle-to-Vehicle and Vehicle-to-Infrastructure (V2X) communication technology.

Marben is also part of the project conducted by the governments of the Netherlands, Germany and Austria to create a V2X corridor and part of several OEM initiatives towards V2X deployments.

After a successful participation at the US DOT PlugFest in June using the 6765 Autotalks platform, the company is here in Detroit to demonstrate the high flexibility and efficiency of its V2X software solution in partnerships with Ficosa and Autotalks.

At Marben’s booth, delegates can see a demonstration of Marben V2X software running on the new V2X equipment designed by Ficosa in partnership with Autotalks. Based on Ficosa’s strong expertise in full system design and its high-performance multilevel and space-filling antennas and Autotalks’ highly-integrated end-to-end solution automotive-grade Craton V2X communication processor and Pluton V2X RF transceiver, Marben says this equipment offers a cost-effective solution for addressing the V2X OEM and after-sales market.

As Michel Perin points out, “Our V2X software solution addresses both the US (567 SAE/6781 IEEE standards) and the European (ETSI ITS/Car2Car Day1 applications) market requirements. Moreover, Marben has set-up a strong eco-system with all the 802.11p DSRC chipset manufacturers and Security chips providers to ensure a fast integration of our software solution into customers’ unique hardware platforms.

“With successful participations in European ETSI and US DOT PlugFests and several Field Operational Tests, Marben V2X is the trusted complete software solution for V2X On-Board-units and Roadside units field deployments.”
